    You've got to go dig that up and get it working! Or at least diagnose the problem.

  4. I understand that if you heat the altoid in a microwave oven for about 20 seconds, it will enhance it's crystaline structure and improve detection.

  5. I can't believe I forgot to mention that! Yes, indeed, 20-22 seconds in the microwave helps a lot, but only if salt is sprinkled on the Altoid. The salt introduces impurities into the crystal structure, turning the curiously refreshing mint into a semiconductor. Thanks for reminding me OM!
